has anyone tried MonaVie Acai juice?

i’ve just ordered a couple of bottles online to try
has anyone tried it?
if so pls let me know if there were any positive results as they claim on the news etc.
thanks!

The only positive result you can expect from Monavie is that it will make your mouth wet. If anyone is promising you more than that, they are scamming you. Do a little research and you’ll find that Monavie is less nutritious than grape juice or a few bites of an apple but sells for about $45 a bottle (to support the pyramid scheme). The people associated with this company have dodgy backgrounds. They’ve been (and probably still are) in trouble with the FDA for claiming that the juice is a wonder-cure-all. New research published this week has implicated Monavie as the cause of cardiac dysfunction in a newborn. Oprah Winfrey has even sued the company for false advertising.

The Acai berry and it’s juice has many great effects on the body, and it has been scientifically proven. But the MonaVie juice is a worthless product. The Acai berry is only grown in South America, and spoils too quickly to be shipped with out being preserved. MovaVie’s answer to this is to freeze dry the berries and grind them into a powder that can be shipped cheaply and made into their products. Sounds like a good idea, but the vast majority of the vitamins and nutrients are destroyed in the freeze drying process, rendering their products useless. Acai berry = good in principle. MonaVie Juices = Pyramid Scam. Nuff said.

Was a personal trainer for years, and took this product to a Dietitian I worked with because it sounded great. She looked into it and came back to me with exactly what I’ve just told you.

In the world of silly, overpriced, useless miracle acai supplements; Monavie is the most silly, overpriced, and useless of them all.

    You’ve just been hosed.

It does have some health benefits, but the juice itself is extremely overrated.
