Can you eat berries if you have kidney stones?
I am a distributor for MonaVie which is a 100% juice from 19 berries including the Acai berry. I have a customer that has kidney stones and she says she can't induce anything that has a berry in it. Is that true?

The Essential oil from the berries of juniper (Juniperus communis) is generally regarded as a kidney irritant. The conventional wisdom is that juniper is contraindicated in renal disease and should not be used long-term as a diuretic what it helps is cranberry juice.
