Vegetable Juicing Benefits

The benefits of juicing are all factors of the ingredients you put into. While each category of ingredients has its own strengths, overconsumption of anything is dangerous. So it is important, just like eating, that we try as wide a variety of foods as possible. Constantly look for new juicer recipes and try fruits and vegetables you’ve never seen before.

Many people have such spoiled palettes that natural foods such as fruits and vegetables do not appeal to them. That is okay because with juicing, you can slowly retrain yourself to enjoy things are you were meant to enjoy.

The primary reason vegetables juicing is recommended over fruit juicing is because of the high levels of sugar in fruits. For some people who must watch their sugar levels fruit juicing adds too much sugar into their daily intake. Fruits also lack chlorophyll which is a reason for anyone to consume lots of green.

Chlorophyll contained in vegetables do a lot to promote the well being of our bodies. To plants, chlorophyll serves many functions that at this moment are not of our concern. Our concern is the cleansing, antiseptic, cell rejuvenating properties it provides.

The benefits described earlier are actually the functions of hemoglobin in the blood. Hemoglobin is what carries oxygen in our blood and chlorophyll has such a similar structure many experiments have shown our bodies are able to convert chlorophyll into hemoglobin and that in turn enriches our blood.

Some of the immediate benefits of consuming sufficient amounts of chlorophyll include increased blood count, alleviating blood sugar problems, and relieving gastric ulcers. Simply, your blood does a lot to keep your body running smoothly and tries to balance out all the crap you put in your body. By consuming chlorophyll, you are giving your blood what it needs work properly.

So where does the chlorophyll come from? We know it is in vegetables, and we know that it is what makes vegetables green. So if we just eat green vegetables we will be consuming lots of chlorophyll. To get greater amounts of green in faster time is by consuming foods richest in chlorophyll. These are alfalfa, barley grass, chlorella, spirulina, and wheatgrass.

Chlorella is important for another reason. So to get two major deficiencies covered in one food, eating chlorella is the way to go. Other than being high in chlorophyll, it is also high in vitamin B12 which is found in animal products but rare in plants. Especially if you are vegetarian, look for chlorella tablets as the produce itself may be hard to find.
