How much Cranberry juice do you have to drink a day to get the health benefits? Does it matter what type of d?
I am looking for better urinary track health by drinking cranberry juice. It has a lot of calories so I don't' want to consume a tremendous amount each day.
I actually take cranberry pills. I usually have horrible UTIs again and again, but since I started taking cranberry pills (you can find them in the vitamin aisle), I haven't had a single one since I started taking them! I am so impressed.
Also, I have discussed them with my doctor, and she is actually happy that I am taking them, so I am assuming she approves of them and thinks they are safe
.
This might be too much information, but my UTIs are caused by sex, so after every time, I take 3 cranberry pills to help (I usually only take 2 every morning), and since I've starting doing this, I haven't had another one.
So, my main point is: I had a really hard time remembering to drink enough cranberry juice (plus the calories like you mentioned), so I now take cranberry pills, and I am a HUGE FAN!!! I think the benefits are even better than just drinking cranberry juice, because you can get even more in your system.

drink it no more than 1 or 2 glasses. It's one of your 5 a day and it's not like you would eat five apples so why drink five glasses of juice. it can cause stomach problems if you drink it much as well. Like everything drink it with moderation!
