Thanks nerak!! Yeah …
Thanks nerak!! Yeah I’m a far cry from redneckdom more of a tree-hugger! Not to knock rednecks though. I’m currently livin’ in PA and am surounded by redneck culture here yet still I find quite a few people pursuing raw and healthy living as well as eco-living ideals! Rock on! :0)

A lot of large grocery stores carry them in their kitchen goods section, or with plastic storage containers. If not there large department storesusually carry them in cases of 12 jars for about $7-$9. Thanks for the question! Peace~Rory :0)

In my last question …
In my last question or guess as to why its ok to bypass food combining when juicing, is because liquids are predigested to a large degree and perhaps bypass the stomach making it less important to isolate specific foods in order to isolate specific stomach acids. Either way i suppose it is splitting hairs since a raw or high raw food diet is eons more healthy than what ever else you could consume.

Personally I don’t …
Personally I don’t follow any particular food combining guidelines , I mostly just try to make the end result taste good while retaining as many of the health beneftis as possible. I do however usually combine either fats or proteins with sugar rich foods(like fruits) to prevent blood sugar level spikes and crashes. I thinks it’s why most raw-foodists combine the two, taste and the sugar issue in my opinion. For the last question are you refering to the living enzymes bypassing the stomach acid?

perhaps you can …
perhaps you can help clarify some things for me: I noticed that a lot of raw foodists throw the ‘food combining’ concept out the window. Fruit with veggies? Is there a scientific rationale behind juicing both fruits and veggies together? Something to do with it bypassing the stomach?

I’ve not tried this …
I’ve not tried this particular drink with the kale pulp left in it because I was going for a lighter beverage although I do love kale in my green smoothies! I’ll give it a shot sometime though!:o)

I read somewhere …
I read somewhere that kale pulp in a smoothie is great for absorbing and carrying out toxins from the body. Have you tried this without removing pulp?

Thank you
My blender is just a lil’ 450watt model I got for $25 at a department store It handles most jobs pretty well except making reeeaally creamy raw soups so someday I’ll invest in a vitamix.
The sooner it’s drank the better as the kale starts to take on a grass-like flavor but, it should be good for about two days.

Excellent as usual …
Excellent as usual Rory!
Is that a regular blender or vitamix or something?
Also will the juice keep in the fridge for a couple of days?
Keep posting your vids.
