How Can Cancer and Heart Disease be Prevented Using a Small Amazon Berry?


If you have been living on this planet for any length of time, chances are you have heard of the latest super food, the acai berry. The acai berry has several health benefits and is found high up on top of the palm trees located in the Amazon rain forest in South America.

Essentially, the acai berry has enjoyed a phenomenal amount of popularity due to the fact that it is believed to have the ability to help prevent cancer and heart disease, as a result of some extremely powerful ingredients. Interestingly enough, there is no known food source on the planet which contains the same amount of these ingredients as does this tiny acai berry. First of all, it contains a massive amount of fiber and of course, as far as western diets are concerned, fiber deficiency is believed to be a major contributor to people getting cancer and heart disease. Additionally, fiber is also well known for its ability to allow you to feel full, thus helping to prevent overeating. Of course, this in itself helps to prevent obesity and other related conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes.

Who could blame you if you’re already impressed by what you’ve read? The truth is however; there’s even more to the acai berry, in that it is high in both omega 6 and omega 9 essential fatty acids. Both of these serve to lower one’s LDL while at the same time they help to maintain a suitable HDL cholesterol level. The only difference being, omega 9 also assists your body to absorb some vital vitamins. Furthermore, once you start taking the acai berry, you can certainly forget to worry about cholesterol, thanks to extremely high levels of a protein known as anthocyanin. Essentially, this protein has the ability to dissolve saturated fats, thus helping to prevent high cholesterol and other related heart conditions.

Perhaps it’s worthwhile to bear in mind that the vast majority of undesirable chemicals and toxins within our bodies, come from the foods we consume. Of course, in today’s hectic world it’s becoming increasingly difficult to avoid eating processed foods altogether. The fact is however, unless you revert to a diet which is 100% clean, it will be virtually impossible for you to avoid all the harmful toxins which contribute to numerous diseases. The bottom line is; we make ourselves sick on a daily basis simply because of the foods we consume, such as soda and sweetened drinks, including alcohol, which also doesn’t help much. Let’s face it; you don’t need to be a doctor in order to know that diseases such as cancer and heart disease don’t just happen over the space with a few days. Instead, these are conditions which develop over a period of time. One fact that simply cannot be denied is that one’s diet plays a crucial role in your overall health. The bottom line is; the acai berry really can make a noticeable difference to your life and the way you feel but perhaps more important, it can to a certain extent actually save your life.
