Is this an ok piece of exercise equipment to fitten up and lose weight on?

Plus I live in an upstairs flat and don't want to pee of the guy downstairs. They are usually quite quiet aren't they? More so than treadmills anyway.

yer they are really good – i got one and they dont make much noise at all – even when you really go for it.

    yea! this is my FAVOURITE exercise. I lost 50 pounds doing this and now I'm a size 00. It really works and it tones everything including your arms, midsection (if you keep good posture), and your legs! :D

    Get yourself a kettle bell. Much cheaper and more versatile and you can take it anywhere. Look them up on the net: find out where to buy them and download some free exercise routine videos.
