Does anyone know anything about Acai Vitamins? Also benefits to Green Tea and Pomegranate?

I’ve recently discovered that I have precancerous cells in my body, and I am making it a point to improve my overall health. I’ve been looking into antioxidant rich diets. Does anyone have any information on Acai, Green Tea, or Pomegranate vitamins? (Which is better, Is it ok to take all or a combination? How much to take?) Any information will be appreciated.

Go for the actual foods/drinks.
Forget the supplements.
The acai thing is blown way out of proportion and is an accurate.
Get the same antioxidants and the fiber from eating fresh/frozen black, blue, straw, or raspberries.
Drink green tea hot or cold.
Pomegranate is great if you have the patience to get the seeds out.
The juice is not worth the money.
Pom got cited and fined by the FDA about 6 months ago for claiming their pomegranate juice "prevented cancer".
Seems like everyone is grabbing on to the miracle components of just about everything.
Eat a high antioxidant diet of fresh foods and you are way ahead of any supplements.
Did you know lowly beans are some of the highest antioxidant foods we have?
Not very sexy but high performance.
I do recommend a basi multivitamin. Just to fill the little gaps. Not as a primary source of anything.
Good luck.

I would recommend that you look on http://www.wikipedia.org That is a great place to answer many of the questions You will be asking.

An antioxidant rich diet is a wonderful thing for ALMOST anyone. I agree that "natural" fresh foods are probably better. But, supplements are the easiest least expensive way to get your antioxidant rich diet.

Keep it simple, use moderation, and start with the basics. Not too much, not too many, not too often, etc. but my all means use them. Find the ones that appeal to you, and start there. Use too many & you will never know what is working and what is not.

With supplements it is difficult to know exactly what you are getting, but you should be OK if you stay with the major Labels. Keep it simple to start. There are plenty of good choices at every grocery store or pharmacy.

    God Bless, and good luck.

Acai, Pomegranate and Green Tea are all powerful antioxidants with numerous health benefits. I drink Green Tea 3 times a day for its antioxidant power and compounds that can shield you from many harmful diseases including cancer and heart disease.

One of these compounds is EGCG, which is a substance with 25 to 100 times the antioxidant power of vitamins C and E. In fact, just one cup of green tea has more antioxidants than a serving of broccoli, spinach, carrots, or strawberries.

Green Tea has been proven helpful at:

    Protecting joints against osteoarthritis
    Preventing total body inflammation
Lowering your LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels
    Preventing excess hormone activity
Shielding your body from abnormal cell growth
    Protecting against lung cancer
    Aiding weight loss
    Improving your metabolism
    Boosting your immune system
    Improving skin cells
Destroying harmful bacteria that can poison your system
    Preventing tooth decay

I don’t mean to disappoint you, but none of these things are going to provide any health benefits whatsoever. They’re just pretty-sounding products designed to make you *think* they’re healthy, thus providing a modest placebo effect.

Green tea is full of antioxidants, which are Amazing for your skin and also speeds up your metabolism, which increases weight loss. While getting used to the taste, try adding honey or sugar to sweeten it up a bit
I would recommend 2-3 cups a day, the more the better to be honest
It can also cure blotchiness, and help keep your appetite at bay.
