Uh, it gives corporations more money in their pockets.

Seriously, Acai is a load of bunk. You get the same nutritional benefits from any other berry as you do with ‘acai’. No magic here, sorry.

Red grapes, blueberries, strawberries, black berries, raspberries, you can’t go wrong.

Don’t fall for the scams saying ACAI IS THE BEST… it’s a fruit… seriously

The only benefit is for the retailer selling them! It’s just a new version of and old diet pill. The only thing you’ll lose is $$$$

    Hey John,

Before I decided to use an acai supplement, I looked it up. Here’s what I have found and experienced:
*Potential Weight Loss –> Increased metablism, fat oxidation
    *Increase energy
*Promotes overall health through antioxidants. The antioxidants found in the berry are a lot, 10x red grapes, 10-30x red wine, for example. Antioxidants fight off free radicals which cause diseases.

Inside there is a near perfect combination of antioxidants, essential fatty acids (needed to live, dietary fiber and phytosterols which help promote cardiovascular and digestive health), amino acids (works in tandem with valuable trace minerals, vital to proper muscle contraction and regeneration).

I’d like to note that all of these things can come about through a change in your diet, mostly implementing fresh foods rather than substitutes. The acai isn’t necessary, but it is a nice supplement. I have used it to lose 10 pounds and increase my energy.

So you don’t need acai, there’s other stuff, but it’s pretty good. I enjoy it at least. There are many websites with free trial offers, I’d find one of those (i’ll link 1 I used) if you wanted to try it. That way you aren’t out anything more than $6 shipping.

Don’t listen to people who think all fruit is the same. There are different nutrient components out there. As far as I’m concerned, the acai berry is one of the best fruits out there when it comes to nutrition. Again, that said, you could eat blueberries if you wanted… just don’t think its an identical substitute. They are good for you though@!
